What a session might look like:
Chiropractic care from the comfort of your living room. I will arrive with everything I need including my chiropractic table to provide private, quality chiropractic care with absolute convenience.
I will need an open space to set up my table and then will conduct an intake and exam if this is our first session together to understand your problem. I will come up with a care plan and discuss with you any potential risks and benefits before administering any care. The best part is you are in control, so if you don’t want to be adjusted and prefer just muscle relief and exercises that is exactly what you will get. Sessions are never rushed, I will take my time relaxing your muscles with different massage and release techniques, will adjust where indicated if desired, and then teach home exercises. Other benefits of home visits are that I can make ergonomic recommendations to the way you sit in your home office, the way you lay in your bed, and how you sit in your car. After the session you get to go relax while I put my table away and head on my way to my next patient.

Exam
Every new problem starts with a history intake and exam in order to best understand your problem and what kind of care you need. I’ll tell you my diagnosis, if you need to follow up with other providers for further testing/ information, and what I plan to do for care. I always ask if there are any questions before providing care.

Muscle Release
The majority of our session will be spent relaxing the muscles causing you pain and discomfort. I will use a combination of massage, deep pressure, myofascial release, pin and stretch, and muscle engagement and relaxation techniques to get your muscles to release. My pressure is firm and deep and if you ever feel like it is too much I can adjust my pressure or method for your comfort.

Home Exercises
I aim to give accessible and applicable exercises that directly target your problem area or muscle. I do not give exercises I wouldn’t do myself because I want them to be effective and evidence based. I make modifications to personalize any exercises I give based on mobility and ability level. I teach exercises that require no equipment or very minimal equipment. Home exercises are crucial for improvement and strengthening to prevent re-injury.

Ergonomics
We can look at how you use your body at home in ways that contribute to your injury or pain and how to fix it. I will assess how you sit in your office chair, lay in your bed/ sleeping position, and what are your car seat settings. I will provide you with realistic and direct changes to improve your posture and body awareness/ comfort.
